Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

With Adaptive Cruise Control, set the speed you want to go and the interval you want to keep between you and the vehicle in front of you.

Millimeter-wave radar and a monocular camera monitor the distance to the vehicle ahead. Brakes are automatically applied to maintain the set follow interval. If the vehicle in front of you exits, Adaptive Cruise Control continues at the cruise-control speed you chose. There’s a host of driver assistance and safety technologies included with every Acura vehicle.

ACC cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed and other factors. ACC should not to be used in heavy traffic, poor weather or on winding roads. The driver remains responsible to slow or stop the vehicle to avoid a collision.
