Adaptive Cruise Control

Your vehicle’s Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system allows you to set a time interval from the car ahead of you. While cruising, engage the Adaptive Cruise Control, and the system will prompt you to select a short, medium or long interval from the vehicle ahead. ACC will hold it, modulating the throttle and applying moderate braking if necessary.

ACC cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed and other factors. ACC should not to be used in heavy traffic, poor weather or on winding roads. The driver remains responsible to slow or stop the vehicle to avoid a collision.
