Voice Recognition

The Voice Recognition system lets you operate all key functions of the navigation, audio, climate control, AcuraLink systems through simple verbal commands, so you can keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. Simply press the "Talk" button on the steering wheel, and the audio system will mute. You can say hundreds of command phrases, such as "Display gas stations," "CD play track 3," or " Rear defrost on." You can also say a specific address, as the system recognizes over a million city and street names.

Whenever you press the Talk button on the Map screen, a listening icon appears in the upper left corner, along with a guidance screen and prompts with examples to help you determine your command. If you already know your command, press the Talk button a second time to bypass the prompt. When you press the Talk button on any other screen, only the listening icon appears in the upper left corner of your navigation screen to indicate it’s ready to receive a command.

2011 TL shown for demonstration purposes. Some controls and screens will have minor differences in appearance.
